Obstetrics
Obstetric ultrasonography is one of the routine prenatal examination items. The ultrasonic diagnostic instrument is used to scan various sections of the human body. According to the amplitude of the echo signal, real-time imaging is performed on the monitor, so it can detect the uterine appendages and the fetus. Through the biological measurement of the fetal head, abdomen, long bones, etc., the gestational age and the size of the fetus can be estimated. Through the observation of real-time dynamic ultrasound images, it is possible to detect whether the fetus has structural abnormalities, determine the degree of fetal malformation, evaluate the prognosis, whether clinical treatment is required to preserve fetal survival. For pregnant women with no abnormal performance within ten weeks, no ultrasound examination is required. For older and high-risk pregnancy, obstetric ultrasound examination must be performed regardless of the gestational age, which not only ensures the safety of the fetus, but also prepares for delivery. Ultrasound is widely used in obstetrics because of its non-radiation, simple operation, flexibility and convenience, high resolution, and moderate examination price.
Applications
Ultrasonography in early, middle and third trimester, obstetric Doppler ultrasound, normal twin pregnancy, ultrasound diagnosis of common fetal structural malformations, twin pregnancy complications, abnormal pregnancy, abnormal pregnancy appendages, real-time monitoring of midwifery, etc.
